Hello I'm Kayleigh and I'm a yellow

Do you ever get that feeling that you have a colour that represents your life? Or a colour that means something to you that your not sure what?

I do and mine is Yellow.

I liked the colour yellow from an early age and my earliest memories of the colour yellow is when I sat in my nan's office when I was a four year old girl drinking tea. (no wonder I'm obsessed now!) and my nan presented me with my very own mug. It had yellow daffodils on it and I can still remember the smell of the office now when I think of that mug. As I grew up I was I was in Yellow group at  middle school. Yellow group was the second to bottom group, you weren't at the bottom neither were you at the top with the clever people! And stayed there for four years not moving up or down just stayed in my little yellow group. When I entered high school I was in the form colour Yellow. I wasn't the kid that everyone wanted to sit with, neither was I the one that everyone tried to get away from. I was that quiet little geeky child that sat in the corner and never said a word to anyone unless they spoke to me first. I suppose as a form group we would always work as a team especially if we were against any of the other forms, I remember us being really sporty and wining things a lot such as interform dance in year eight and yellow as a whole won sports day one year.

When I think of the colour of yellow, it reminds me of happiness and joy. I see those big yellow happy faces in my mind and the slogan 'don't worry, be happy!'  It turns out that during my search of meaning about the colour, I came across something called colour of your personality tests and so I did - I am a yellow!  (Links are a the the bottom if you want to do some research!)

I used google to find the meaning of the colour yellow and it's the colour of happiness, wisdom and imagination, Yellow is chosen by the mentally adventurous, searching for novelty and self-fulfilment and Yellow usually goes with a sunny and shrewd personality, with a good business head and a strong sense of humour. When I took a look on http://thelandofcolor.com/my-favorite-color-is-yellow-meaning-2/ what they said about 'yellow' people (I'm not talking about minions here!!)  it says 'you simply refuse to see the glass as half empty; from your perspective it is always half full. You have a reputation of leaping before you look. Sometimes the impulsiveness pays off because while others are stalled by indecisiveness, your spontaneity and willingness to take action positions you several steps ahead of the competition.'

This is something I do, I tend to leap without looking or thinking things through, I am too positive sometimes even when I don't feel like it and can talk myself into being positive when I'm feeling the complete opposite! When I looked on http://www.heidimorton.net/personality-types/yellow/ it's just me everything she has written is me! As states a Yellow will "Trust people easily, very gullible. Hesitant when asked questions and take a long time thinking about the answer. They dwell on problems. They can talk your ear off when you are in a hurry, and get offended if you are abrupt with them. They are professional worriers." - I am a worrier over silly little things. I trust people all the time, I like to see the good in people so when I have to trust people I do.

I recommend finding out your colour, it's weird how we each have our own colour and completely different from each other. When you read about your colour it's so weird how much a colour can say about you and actually be you. I thought a yellow personality would be one of those people who are happy all the time it's annoying but actually just because a colour can mean something doesn't mean it for a personality for a person! I'm not to sure on the tests that I've posted below it they are correct or not but are still fun to do but defiantly take a look at some of the links I've posted if you want to find out your colour.
