Book Review|| A Little in Love by Susan Fletcher

I love Les Mis and it's probably my favourite musical. When I discovered this book,  I knew this would be a book I would have to read.
Blurb
Paris 1832
A street girl dies alone in the darkness clutching a letter to her heart.
Eponine remembers being a child: her swing and peach tree, and the baby brother she loved. But mostly she remembers being miserable. Taught to lie and cheat, and hate the one little girl, Cosette, who might have been her friend.
Now at sixteen, the two girls meet again and Eponine has one more chance. But what is the price of friendship - the love of a boy?
My Views
I completely love this story. Susan Fletcher gives a look on Eponine the poor child who was raised to cheat and steal her way through life. But Eponine realises theres more to life and decides to live an honest life. She falls in love with a rich boy who is busy dealing with the french revolution but like the musical he falls in live with Cosette, the girl she was made to be horrid too.
Susan Fletcher gives feelings and a story to Eponine and it's one of the most beautifully written books I've ever read. I completely loved the character of Eponine and her love for Marius.  She knows she'll never get him but she dreams and hopes that there might be a chance. She'll do anything she can and with her past she trys to make amends. If your into the character of Eponine, this book gives you a look into her life and her background.
If your a Les Miserables fan would definitely recommend this book. It gives you a whole diffrent perspective on Eponine and her life. It is a brilliant book!
