Five Happy Things of Two Thousand and Nineteen

Five Happy Things of Two Thousand and Nineteen

Two Thousand and Nineteen has gone and I feel like I've blinked and it's all of a sudden Twenty Twenty and we are already in double figures of January... Crazy!

Two Thousand and Nineteen was a good year and I achieved and did many things.
I thought I'd share five happy things that happened during the year!

5. Couch to 5K!
Half way through the year, I decided to tackle Couch to 5K. I'm no runner but I had heard so many good reviews on the app that it gets you up off the couch and helps you learn how to run. This worked for me and after I completed Week 1, I felt like I could run anything. However, it gets harder as the weeks go on. I went on holiday at week 4 and I haven't ran since! I will get back to running at some point. I loved that feeling when I had achieved the run and then the end of the week!

4. Making Memories
Catching up with friends, hen dos, weddings, family gatherings...I love these little get togethers that memories are made from. Two Thousand and Nineteen had a few golden highlights from my friends hen do in the summer months to having a Christmas get together with the Romanov gang. Moments like these, with your loved ones are what makes life amazing.

3. I faced my fears!
I last year I faced my fears. Suffering with anxiety, I find it really hard to say yes to something without worrying about it. I build a wall up and its really hard to knock it down and say yes to things. I am terrified of rollercoasters and rides. Going to Disney and Universal, I told myself I was going to try rides once. It's easy to say that when you aren't in a que that is 45 mins and there's no way of getting out the que. This was for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. However this ride made me fall in love with rides and I faced my fear. I did so many rides and I was so proud of myself for facing my fears, trying different rides. I wasn't brave enough to do big rollercoasters but who knows that day might come yet! I have a massive thank you to say to my mother in law and fiance for helping me face my fears.

2. Orlando, Disney, Universal...The LOT!

It feels like a dream. I loved this holiday so much and I can't believe this is six months ago since I was at this amazing place. I'd go again in a heart beat. I loved every moment. I look back at pictures of the whole holiday and it just felt so magical. Disney really is such a magical place. I think we rode It's a Small World at least seven times throughout the two weeks. I was lucky enough to be blown a kiss from Donald Duck. I will be back Disney!

1. I became an Aunt!
My beautiful niece was born in 2019 and I love everything about being an aunt. She is such a beautiful girl and I love having my aunty cuddles! This was the best thing that happened in 2019!

What are your five happy things of Two Thousand and Nineteen?
